Transport

The ANU Acton campus is located in the heart of Canberra, a short walk from the CBD.

There are a number of options you can use to get to and from ANU including tram, bus, bike and car.

Travel Grants

AMSI Summer School travel grants are available to assist students from AMSI member universities with the cost of travel and accommodation.
Female, First Nations and regional, rural and remote students are encouraged to apply.

Accommodation

Bruce Hall Main Wing

Bruce Hall Main Wing offers new on campus accommodation. Located on Daley Road at the ANU Acton Campus, only a 5-minute walk to the Mathematical Sciences Institute (MSI), and a couple of the Summer School Lecture Theatres. Guests will have their own furnished room with balcony, linen included, internet, shared bathrooms, study and common areas as well as access to a roof top garden. Hotel style buffet dining options available daily in the residence Dining Hall. All dietaries catered for. If preferred, lunch can be made available daily in a takeaway container.

AMSI Travel Grants: Students awarded accommodation support through AMSI Travel Grants will have their accommodation (single room, shared bathrooms) booked and paid for them at Bruce Hall Main Wing from Sunday 7 January to Friday 2 February (26 nights).

Accommodation grants for international students attending from universities outside Australia are not offered, however, students are welcome to stay at Bruce Hall Main Wing. Accommodation can be booked and paid for during the Summer School application process.
