Monash University Clayton campus is located in Melbourne’s south east and easily accessible.
There are a number of options you can use to get to and from Monash including train, bus, bike and car.

On-campus accommodation options at Monash University Clayton will be unavailable during the Summer School due to maintenance and renovation works. A limited number of student rooms which will be offered through AMSI Travel Grants (see details below).
Several independent hotels and motels are located in the Clayton area, and nearby suburbs are only a short bus ride to the Monash University bus interchange. Use Public Transport Victoria’s Journey Planner to check travel times to campus.
AMSI Summer School travel grants are available to assist students from AMSI member universities with the cost of travel and accommodation.

Mannix College is a student residential college affiliated with Monash University. Located on Wellington Road in Clayton, it is just across the road from the main campus, and a short walk to the School of Mathematics and Statistics where many Summer School activities will be held. A number of cafes and supermarkets are also available both on campus and near by.
Each room is furnished with a single bed (pillows and linens provided, but please bring your own towels), a study desk, wardrobe space, and a washbasin. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the accommodation.
Shared facilities include communal bathrooms, study spaces, libraries, and a gym. The building is equipped with lift access, coin-operated laundry facilities, and security access.
A small kitchen is available should you wish to cook your own meals. It includes a small stove-top, oven, microwave, fridge and sink along with essential cooking utensils.
Please note: Maintenance and renovations will be taking place at Mannix College during the Summer School dates. AMSI students will be accommodated on a dedicated floor within one wing of the college. No works will occur in the allocated rooms, however, renovations will be underway in surrounding floors and wings. Any noisy works will be scheduled during the day, and students are encouraged to vacate their rooms and make use of the multiple study spaces available on site during these times.
