ICE-EM/AMSI SUMMER SCHOOL 2004

The 2nd annual ICE-EM/AMSI Summer School was hosted by The University of New South Wales from 27 January to 20 February 2004. The organising committee headed by, Prof. Michael Cowling and Dr Ian Doust, presented an excellent program.

There was 137 students that attended Summer School and of these students there were 3 advanced undergraduate, 55 Honours students, 23 Masters students, 53 PhD students and 3 academic staff. All students were from member universities and approximately 30 students were from cognate areas.

Student feedback was extremely positive with almost all the students saying that they would take part in another summer school given the opportunity.

As with the 2003 summer school, the opportunity to mix with a wide range of like-minded students from across the country was an important part of the experience for all participants.
