Over 3-5 months, students have the opportunity to apply their skills in a new setting, build industry networks and gain invaluable industry experience with support every step of the way.

APR.Intern works with all universities, nationally, to streamline pathways for postgraduate research students to be industry-literate and career-ready and has more than 10 years of experience facilitating successful projects.

How to Apply

There are three ways to apply for an internship:

Respond Directly to an Advertised Internship

All internship opportunities are advertised on the APR.Intern website. If your skill set fits one of these opportunities, apply directly to the project.

Submit an Expression of Interest

If no current internship opportunities match your skill set, you are encouraged to submit a general application of your skills and research speciality for APR.Intern to keep on file and cross check against upcoming opportunities. By submitting a general application, you can also select to join APR.Intern’s online database of student profiles that is shared regularly with industry to review.

Submit a Custom Internship Enquiry

Students and Academics are also encouraged to utilise their own networks to create internship opportunities. If you or your PhD Supervisor has an Industry Partner in mind, APR.Intern can help by creating and facilitating a custom internship. Contact our team for more information.
