AMSI Summer School 2018 is hosted by the Monash University at the Clayton Campus, which is located in the south eastern Melbourne suburb of Clayton; approximately 25km from the central business district.
Clayton is Monash University’s largest campus; with eight faculties represented. The campus offers an array of sporting, cultural, and educational events and facilities.
The program will be held at the School of Mathematical Sciences, in the Mathematics & Earth, Atmosphere and Environment Building, 9 Rainforest Walk, Clayton Campus, Monash University.
Accommodation for students who are successful with their grant application to attend the AMSI Summer School in 2018 will be located at Mannix College, which is a residential college situated in the grounds of the Monash University.
Students who do not apply for a grant or are unsuccessful with their grant application (self-funding students) can contact the AMSI Summer School Director to discuss accommodation options at the Mannix College. AMSI and the University of Sydney make every effort to ensure that costs associated with student accommodation for self-funded students are kept to a minimum amount.
Please note: Accommodation for local Melbourne students is not supplied, though they are still welcome to attend the social events during the AMSI Summer School. See under Program Extras.
